What surface can Wall Stickers be applied to?
Walls
Wall Stickers best adhere to clean, dry, painted internal plaster walls. Ensure that walls are free from dirt and dust otherwise the adhesive may be compromised and the Wall Sticker ruined. Smooth walls in good condition (without cracks or chips where sticker is to be placed) are best. Stickers apply best to walls that have an undercoat and two coats of paint. If walls have been freshly painted it is recommended that you wait at least 4 weeks prior to applying wall stickers. If walls are too rough, such as very textured walls, then the sticker may not stay applied. Wall stickers may be applied to lightly rendered or wood-paneled walls however we cannot guarantee this.
Bathroom
Wall Stickers can be applied in bathrooms as long as the walls are completely dry when you apply them and you need to ensure that the room is well ventilated with an exhaust fan. Since Wall Stickers are affected by extreme heat and moisture then adhesion may be a problem. It is best to ensure that Wall Stickers do not overlap the grout area as water could filter under and decrease the effectiveness of the adhesive.
Other Surfaces
Wall Stickers can also be applied to other smooth internal surfaces, for example, ceilings, mirrors, glass, smooth metal such as stainless steel, tiles, plastic surfaces, fridges, and furniture. Wall Sticker Shop Wall Stickers can update your furniture and fittings in minutes!
